Welcome to People Route, a mobile application developed by Big-Me Softwares. By downloading, installing, or using People Route, you agree to these Terms of Use. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

1. About People Route

People Route is an AI-powered destination suggestion application. It uses your location, preferences, and real-time data from third-party services (including Google Places and OpenAI) to suggest places to visit. People Route is designed to prioritize open places and estimate travel-time fit before presenting suggestions. All suggestions are generated algorithmically and are not guarantees, endorsements, or professional recommendations.

1A. Eligibility (13+)

People Route is only for users who are 13 years of age or older. By using the app, you represent that you are at least 13. If you are under 13, do not use People Route.

2. Navigation, Transportation & Safety Disclaimer

You are solely responsible for your own safety at all times while using People Route.

• People Route suggests destinations but does not physically navigate you to them. Navigation is handled by Google Maps or Apple Maps, which are third-party applications subject to their own terms.
• People Route may also hand off destination details to third-party transportation apps (such as Uber or Lyft) when you tap those actions. Those services are independent providers, and their own terms and policies apply.
• Do not use People Route while driving. Pull over safely before interacting with the app.
• AI-generated suggestions may be inaccurate, out of date, or inappropriate for your situation. Always use your own judgment before proceeding to any destination.
• Big-Me Softwares is not liable for accidents, injuries, property damage, loss, or any negative outcomes that occur while navigating to or visiting a suggested destination.
• People Route is not a navigation application and does not provide turn-by-turn directions.

2A. Feature Availability & Third-Party Dependency

• Some features depend on third-party services, app permissions, device settings, internet access, and app availability in your region.
• Social sharing targets (such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter/X, Messages, Mail, etc.) appear through the iOS share sheet and depend on what is installed and available on your device at that time.
• People Route does not guarantee that any specific third-party app target will appear or accept shared content.
• If a service is unavailable, People Route may provide fallback behavior or no result.

3. Well-Being & Crisis Safety Notice

People Route is built to provide uplifting destination suggestions, but it is not a crisis, therapy, or emergency response service. If you are in immediate danger, call your local emergency number immediately. If you are in the United States or Canada, you can also contact 988 for immediate support.

People Route may show supportive options such as emergency rooms or faith/community spaces when high-risk language is detected, but these are supportive suggestions only and are not medical, legal, or mental health treatment.

4. AI-Generated Content

Destination suggestions, place descriptions, and conversational responses within People Route are generated by artificial intelligence models (including OpenAI GPT-4o-mini). AI output may be:

• Inaccurate or outdated (hours, closures, menu items, pricing)
• Incomplete or missing relevant context
• Based on training data that does not reflect current real-world conditions

Always verify important information (hours, address, availability) before visiting a location. Big-Me Softwares is not responsible for AI errors or inaccuracies.

5. Permissions & First-Run Behavior

• People Route requests required permissions during first-time onboarding.
• Push notifications are optional. Denying notifications does not block normal app use.
• If a permission is missing, People Route may ask again only when you use a feature that requires that permission.
• If enabled, adventure suggestion notifications are sent at most once every three days based on your selected availability windows.

5A. History & Saved Places Behavior

• When you accept a suggestion ("Take me there"), People Route logs that visit in History.
• Saved Places are user-curated. A place is added to Saved only when you explicitly choose "Save for later" or manually add it.

6. User Responsibilities

By using People Route, you agree to:

• Use the app only for lawful purposes. You may not use People Route to find or visit locations for illegal, harmful, harassing, or dangerous activities.
• Not attempt to manipulate or circumvent People Route's safety guardrails.
• Keep your device's operating system and People Route updated to receive important security and safety improvements.
• Be 13 years of age or older. People Route is not directed at children under 13.

7. Subscriptions & In-App Purchases

People Route offers optional auto-renewing subscription plans that provide additional monthly destination requests. By subscribing:

• You authorize Apple to charge your Apple ID account on a recurring basis at the displayed price.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
• Unused monthly requests do not roll over to the following month.
• Refunds are governed by Apple's App Store refund policy. Big-Me Softwares does not process refunds directly.
• All prices are in USD and subject to change with notice.

8. Account & Identity

People Route does not require app-level account creation or login. Subscription and purchase identity are handled through your Apple ID and StoreKit.

9. Data & Privacy

People Route stores your data locally on your device. No personal data is uploaded to Big-Me Softwares servers. For details on what is collected and how third-party services handle your data, see our Privacy Policy.

10. Third-Party Services

People Route integrates with third-party services including Google Places, Google Maps, OpenAI, Apple WeatherKit, Apple Maps, and transportation apps such as Uber or Lyft (when launched by the user). Your use of these services within People Route is also subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. Big-Me Softwares is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or conduct of third-party services.

When you use "Share This Adventure," captions and media are prepared in People Route and then handed to iOS sharing targets. Posting is always user-controlled; People Route does not auto-post. Third-party apps may reject, alter, or limit shared content according to their own rules.

11. Safety, Professional Advice, and Availability Limits

People Route is a destination recommendation tool, not a medical, legal, emergency, financial, or religious counseling service. Suggestions are generated from available place data and your request context, and may not always fit your needs. You are responsible for evaluating any recommendation before acting on it.

• Do not rely on People Route as your sole source for urgent or high-risk decisions.
• If you are in immediate danger, contact your country's emergency services immediately.
• Business hours, inventory, staffing, and service availability can change at any time.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

People Route is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind. Big-Me Softwares does not warrant that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that suggestions will be accurate, complete, or suitable for your purposes.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Big-Me Softwares shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of People Route or any destination suggested by the app. Big-Me Softwares' total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid for the app in the twelve months preceding the claim.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be made available at this URL and within the app. Continued use of People Route after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
